Dance the Divine as the Sacred Marriage - Inside
In our western culture we have been born with a psyche that is spilt between body and spirit, heart and mind. The dominant myth is one of a broken home, of the separation of God and Goddess; thus we have been separated from our inherent truth and birthright of a mythos of the sacred and happy marriage – inside. We have been conditioned to believe it is only with the romantic love with another that we will be truly happy; as well as, that we need the approval of others to have love and happiness. Let's explore what true love really is: that which is in us, already and always, not outside of us. It is being this love we are in action that brings us our happiness. With the nourishment and support of silence, talking, movement and singing we will open to the beauty and perfect love we already are, as well as, that which covers this truth up inside of us. With these understandings and some "tools" we can choose to reclaim our inner freedom, self-love and unique beauty with every breath and every step.
"Don't look for me in human shape." – Rumi
